    You don’t get financial aid by virtue of filing out the FAFSA; rather, the information you provide is calculated to determine your EFC (Expected Family Contribution). Schools use the EFC in conjunction with the COA (Cost of Attendance) to determine your financial aid package.

    Contact your financial aid office for more information as to specifics for your school.
