Greece has asked for the activation of a financial rescue plan by the eurozone and International Monetary Fund, in the hopes it will give it the breathing space to put its finances in order. What they don’t tell you is that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) does this to almost all countries around the world. They “help” by giving financial aid, and then collect interest which put the countries into debt. The IMF then uses the debt they’ve created to have power over the country’s resources. studentsoverbanks.com Wasteful government subsidies put billions of dollars from student financial aid in the pockets of bankers. Congress has a choice: Should we give more handouts to banks or should we invest in our students?

I have to have a hysterectomy, and have no health insurance. My husband’s income is “too much” for us to qualify for any kind of state insurance. We do receive a sliding scale at my doctor’s office (they take 25% off my bill). Is there any kind of financial aid out there to help families that don’t qualify for medicaid? I won’t die without the surgery, but raising the money will take me at least a year, and I’m already in a great deal of pain. Any ideas would be extremely helpful! Thanks much!

I was enrolled in two summer classes this summer, 4 credits each totaling 8 credits. I got financial aid (both grants and loans) for the summer session. I needed at least 6 credits to get financial aid. If I fail one, will they want all of the aid back, even for the first class, because it drops me down to 4 credits which is less than half-time? Or will they just want the part that paid for the one 4 credit class?

Thanks for any help.

Here is the thing. I am enrolled as a medical assistant which classes start this coming october. But the thing is I want to get an extra credit online through different school because they dont offer online school but I also need financial aid for this. Do you think they gonna grant me a separate financial aid or are they gonna take it on my financial aid that i have it right now for my coming classes?

The Princeton Website states: “Princeton is one of only six colleges nationwide that offer need-blind admission and full-need financial aid to international students.”

Do you know what are the other 5 schools?

THANKS!

Can financial aid be used for buying books, supplies, and equipment related to my major, and, if not, are there any other options besides out of pocket?

I am planning to return to college for Spring 2008, but I still have a few things I need to do (tests, references, etc.) before I wll have completed my application to the schools I’m considering.

Should I file my FAFSA as soon as possible..? Or do I need to wait until I have been accepted to a school?

If I need to wait until I’ve been accepted, then do I also need to wait until I’ve decided exactly which university I will attend? What if my decision will depend somewhat on how much financial aid I receive?

When I start community college full time I will need financial aid. But I am planning on transferring into a university. Will I be able to reapply with financial aid to get more money because the University will cost a lot more. Or should I just tough it out through community college and apply when I’m at the University.
